A Focus On The Arts

Developing the whole child means encouraging each student to discover their talents and gifts. Students at Concordia are exposed to a variety of the Fine Arts so that later on they can choose which explore more deeply. Whether through sculpture, watercolor, 3-D design, or other visual art tools, students are immersed in art media throughout their school experience. Vocal performance, either as part of choir or praise team, allows students to explore singing. Playing an instrument in praise band or concert band can have positive impact on academic performance across the board. Students uncover their passion when they can express themselves through the arts.

Strong Athletic Programs

Not all important learning takes place in a classroom. Athletics are a platform where kids learn collaboration, teamwork, perseverance, and strategy in ways that are impossible in a classroom environment. Every student at Concordia has an opportunity to play sports each year, including soccer, baseball, basketball, cheer, track, and volleyball. Middle school students compete locally and regionally, and our basketball teams also have the opportunity to compete at a national level. At Concordia, students pray together and play together!

MEET OUR PRINCIPAL

I have served as the principal of Concordia for nine years and as an educator for over 40 years. I believe that educators have the ability to change the trajectory of a child's life, and I love being able to share the love of Christ with students and parents every day here at Concordia. I believe in lifelong learning and I sincerely enjoy building relationships with students and their families.

Thank you for taking the the time to learn more about how Concordia can serve your student and family. I hope to see you on campus soon!

God bless you!
